Meet a driver at your Eilat hotel for a 6am departure, then board a climate-controlled vehicle for the 155-mile (250-km) trip to the Dead Sea, with views of the Negev Desert and the Arava Valley throughout the drive.

Upon arrival at the Dead Sea, you’ll have time to take photos or just hang out on the beach, then return to the vehicle at 11am for the trip to Jerusalem.

Enter the walls of the Old City for a guided tour, starting with the Via Dolorosa, the traditional path where Jesus is believed to have walked on his way to crucifixion, a site now marked by the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. You’ll also see the Old City’s vibrant markets, the Byzantine cardo, or road, and the Western Wall, where many religious people come to pray.

If you select the optional tour of Bethlehem, leave Jerusalem at 4pm to see the Church of the Nativity, a basilica and UNESCO site built on the place where Jesus is believed to have been born. Alternately, spend the late afternoon on your own in Jerusalem, with time to shop, explore, or relax in an Old City café.

Finish the day with the 198-mile (319-km) return transfer to Eilat, for drop-off at your hotel at roughly 10pm.

Beautiful Jerusalem but short stop at Dead sea

It was a very great experience and thanks a lot to our guide Joseph. We visited Jerusalem during sabath and I think it was better because the city was not so full of tourists. Unfortunately, we have a little time in Dead sea and stay there shoul be a little bit longer.

Both guides in Betlehem and Jerusalem were very good.I'm very grateful for guide Mose Schreiber, who was very intersting and pleasant person. But it is not good, that we couldn;to stop for a short time near the Dead sea.I think it was really possible to do it at the end of trip, when we stopped to pick other turists on the way to Eilat.

I was a lone female traveler who walked 15 minutes to my closest pick up point at 05:15am, I got there 15 minutes earlier than the pick up time (05:45am) and waited 30 minutes past the pick up time just in case. Nobody came to pick me up so I didn't get to go on the trip at all. I then walking back to my apartment, I sent them an email through my wifi explaining what had happened (or hadn't). I was told it was my own fault as I didn't let them know which pick up point I was going to even though nobody ever told me I had to do that and there was also no option to provide that info when booking the trip. I even contacted Viator after booking to confirm the pick up points and wasn't even then told I had to confirm which one I was going to. On top of this, my phone didn't work to make calls as I am from the UK. They are saying they cannot give me a refund even though I 100% did my part which was showing up on time at one of the 3 pick up points. It ruined my holiday and I am not happy at all with the way they have handled the situation.

The tour itself is ok. The local tour operator Fun Time was poor - stayed longer at the shop near the Dead sea, took to a public beach instead of private beach as advertised, tour in Jerusalem started almost 2 hours later than scheduled, therefore no time to visit Bethlehem.

Evitate Tourist Israel e prenotate i tour piu' economici.
