Departure Time

7:15 AM
Leave your central Tel Aviv hotel by air-conditioned coach and travel to Jerusalem to start your full-day tour. Enjoy the views en route and hear fascinating facts from your guide about Jerusalem’s tumultuous history.

On arrival, visit the Mount of Olives to admire the beautiful views over Old Jerusalem. Identify key landmarks, such as the Dome of the Rock at Temple Mount with pointers from your guide.

Pass the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed before his crucifixion, and continue through the Old City walls into the colorful Armenian Quarter.

Trace the winding lanes to the famous Western Wall (Wailing Wall), where thousands of Jewish pilgrims gather to pray, and then enter the Christian Quarter to step out along part of the sacred Via Dolorosa.

See some of the Stations of the Cross as you follow the steps of Jesus, who carried his cross along the route to his crucifixion at Calvary, where the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is sited. Stroll along part of the Cardo, Byzantine Jerusalem’s main thoroughfare, and finish your explorations of Jerusalem with a walk through the Jewish Quarter.

Continue with a short drive to Bethlehem, the holy city that was the birthplace of Jesus.

Leave your coach and wander around the hub of religious activity, Manger Square. Visit the Church of the Nativity, built on the site of Jesus’ birthplace, and see the Mosque of Oman and other landmarks, as well as some famous sites from the Nativity.

Afterward, return to Tel Aviv, where your tour concludes with a hotel drop-off.

Fantastic Jerusalem and Bethlehem tour

This was my first visit to Israel. I was in Tel Aviv for work and took an extra day and went on the Jerusalem and Bethlehem 10 hour tour. It was fantastic. A great way to explore these areas in comfort and safety. The tour guide and driver has a wealth of knowledge about the sights to share. I recommend this tour.

Interesting and well planned and scheduled trip

I found the trip informative and very well organized. I used other companies during my week in Israel with big disappointment. I was therefore very pleased with this trip. The only thing I didn't like is the way we spend time in markets and restaurants.

GOOD Tour

Very good tour. Itamar was an excellent guide and driver. He was friendly and very professional and certainly was extremely knowledgeable. The amount of time spent in the gift shop on arrival in Bethlehem was far too much. This meant that when we arrived at the Church of the Nativity we had to wait far too long to get in because it was midday when one of the religious groups had preferential access. No mention had been made when booking that we would be taken to a restaurant for lunch. No alternative was on offer.

The tour was very well organized. We all departed on time in a very comfortable bus. The tour guide was extremely courteous and the information he provided was excellent. He even brought pictures and publications to share with us.

Thsi day trip is a must!Cigal was an amazing guide! She was so informative and made the whole trip very enjoyable. I enjoyed less Betlehem as they changed guide and as he was switching from spanish and english he was talking so fast that I could not understand half of it but this is a short part of the trip only.

Great trip

We had a great tour led by Omri. The hotel pick up was a few minutes behind though very organized. They picked us up from the hotel. We went to a central location to load up for the tour. The bus was completely full but still decently comfortable with air conditioning. We first went to Jerusalem then Bethlehem. The ride was very smooth with some good narration along the way with good explanations. Omri was also very good at explaining all sides of any kind of issue so it is easier to understand why certain situations are the way they are today. There were times where he had trouble keeping everyone together as it was crowded even during the off-season. We saw many sights. The tour was a bit pricey compared to other listings on Viator (nearly double) though I do not know how could those tours are. Overall, an excellent tour.

Better to explore on your own

I expected this tour to have much more time in Jerusalem- you whiz through the old city with zero time to enjoy the sites and smells - I opted to get back to Tel Aviv on my own and broke off from the tour to do some of my own touring (which was the best part of my day). Bethlehem was cool to see and you have to do a tour to see it, but it’s quite annoying that an hour of our tour was spent at a cheap souvenir shop full of Made in China crap - but when we got to the Old City in Jerusalem we weren’t allowed to stop at any of the authentic stores there along the way. The tour is also very focused on Jesus and the Christian points of interest so if you do not have an interest in that I would skip Bethlehem and do Jerusalem on your own.

Great tour to see more during your stay

This is a great tour to see more during your stay. It’s really well organised, so you get picked up fro your hotel in the morning, transfer to another coach with the rest of your tour group and dropped back at your hotel at the end. Our guide, Heva, was really knowledgable and extremely engaging. Our day was a little disrupted because it was raining so much, which is very unusual for Israel, and also because dignitaries we’re visiting the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, so it was closed, but Heva was so positive throughout and did an amazing job of making sure we still got to see a lot.
